AUDIO
Pro Tools|24 MIX systems enable you to record and play back up to 64 simultaneous tracks of audio at sample rates of up to 48 kHz. As soon as your audio enters Pro Tools, it enjoys a 24-bit signal path until it leaves via your audio interface(s). Coming or going, the sound involved with your sessions also benefits from high-quality signal converters (A/D and D/A).

MIXING
The mixing architecture native to Pro Tools|24 MIX allows for large mixing configurations immune to even the slightest degradation in quality. As MIX hardware transparently makes this possible, you guide the mixing process via either the virtual console within the intuitive Pro Tools user interface or a Digidesign control surface or both. With Pro Tools 6.x software, on-the-fly TDM plug-in instantiation, extensive Import Session Data options, and DigiBase file management open new possibilities and increase productivity. However, our engineer's choose to operate, Pro Tools presents you with a variety of methods to control and automate your mix, all within a non-destructive, recovery-friendly environment geared toward rapid, superior results.

MIDI
Similar to its audio features and capabilities, Pro Tools|24 MIX's integrated MIDI environment gives you full control over the MIDI components of your projects. MIDI events and sequences can be manipulated as easily as audio, eliminating the need to learn yet another operational paradigm. Pro Tools|24 MIX supports the import, creation, and export of MIDI data, as well as extensive MIDI editing and manipulation capabilities. With Pro Tools 6.x software, full integration of Mac OS X's Core MIDI Services as well as MIDI Time Stamping, Groove Quantize, Restore Performance, and other enhancements offer increased flexibility and solid performance. Additionally, compatibility with popular MIDI-centric applications such as Emagic's Logic Audio allows you to work in a hybrid environment, if you wish.

EDITING
Pro Tools' editing capabilities are such that they have become the standard by which all competitors' efforts are judged. This phenomenon has everything to do with two factors: ease of use and magnitude of scope. Using a single screen — the Edit Window — within the Pro Tools interface, you are able to adjust literally every aspect of both audio and MIDI data at sample-level resolution. Trim waveforms, reprocess regions of audio, pitch-correct a compromised performance, replace drum sounds, rearrange song sections on a whim; Pro Tools' non-linear approach to editing enables you to act instantly on your decisions without having to commit to them. With powerful utilities like Beat Detective (multi-track rhythm analysis and repair software) included in the Pro Tools application, there's always a means available to improve or perfect performances.

Our Pro Tools|24 MIX systems include comprehensive surround mixing capabilities, eliminating the need to leave the Pro Tools application for many post and specialized music production projects.
